I've heard that T.S. Eliot's "The Waste Land" is a metaphor for the time of "un-inspiration" or the time between moments of inspiration. I've been inspired in moments to write poetry, but, until several weeks ago, I had never been inspired to write a song.
I apologize in advance for my singing ability, but I'm happy to share my debut song titled "Don't" with all of you. It was amazing how the music and lyrics flowed the evening that I wrote it. Also, I need to mention that my twin helped me finalize the lyrics, so she gets a "credit" on this song.
